This is the first in a series of yearlong commitments to once-and-for-all learn and/or apply a particular skill and stick with it until I have attained proficiency. Today I commit to learning classical guitar well enough to play beautiful classical pieces . Therefore I shall dust off my guitar, crack open my trusty, old, tattered Christopher Parkening Guitar Method, Vol. 1 and proceed to read, study, and practice, practice, practice!
There it is. My commitment.
